Overview

These settings control how audio files are processed during format conversion, including performance and EBU R 128 | ReplayGain metadata handling.

Number of Parallel Converters

Specifies how many files are processed simultaneously during conversion. Increasing this value can significantly improve conversion speed on multi-core processors.

  • Higher values = faster conversion (uses more CPU resources)
  • Lower values = reduced system load

For best performance, set this close to the number of available CPU cores.

Remove converted files from the list

Automatically removes successfully converted files from the file list after conversion is completed. This helps keep the workspace clean after batch conversion operation.

Copy EBU R 128 | ReplayGain metadata from source file

Copies loudness normalization metadata (EBU R128 | ReplayGain) from the source file to the converted file, if available.

  • Preserves existing loudness information
  • Avoids re-scanning when metadata is already present

Close status window when conversion task has successfully finished

Automatically closes the progress/status window after all conversion tasks have completed without errors.

ReplayGain Scanner

Number of Parallel EBU R 128 | ReplayGain Scanners

Defines how many files are analyzed simultaneously when calculating EBU R128 | ReplayGain loudness values.

  • Higher values increase analysis speed
  • Uses additional CPU resources

For best performance, set this close to the number of available CPU cores.

Tip: Setting both parallel converters and ReplayGain scanners too high may overload the system, especially on lower-end hardware. Adjust based on your CPU performance and workload.
